at the Kokomo Theatre "Speak Easy" every Friday & Saturday night February at 7pm when the Queen of Swing™  Kelli Grant takes the stage performing her original musical revue,  "Jazzin’ Things UP!". Kelli takes the audience on a cross country trip to discover the wonderful world and history of Jazz. Thru her music and career you’ll hear the music, meet its creators and legendary performers that made it apart of our musical heritage. Kelli's "Swing 'n Blues" CD was in consideration for "Best Jazz Album"

Mickey Moody, formerly of ABC-DOT records engineers a magnificent album of pop, "swing" standards that Kelli’s low, sultry voice can literally wrap around each and every note. "An enjoyable product to be apart of as well as listen to," states this award winning producer. Mickey has worked on projects with B.J. Thomas, Johnny Winter and Freddy Fender.

The lead singles or push songs from the CD are; "PRETEND", "IF YOU WERE THE ONE", & "You’re Nobody Til Somebody Loves You". Kelli has been recognized more than once for her songwriting talents and "If You Were the One," a riveting and passionate original that will arouse the deepest of emotions in ones heart is another example of diverse songwriting talents as well as her vocal versatility.

There are 14 wonderful romantic love songs commonly associated with the big band movement which Miss Grant logically refers to as "soft swing." Well, what else would you expect from, "the Queen of Swing??"

Kelli receive an "Honorable Mention" from Billboard for her R&B original, "The Way Love Use to Be" from her CD, "Honky Tonk Swing", she is a  TEXAS STATE MUSICIAN NOMINEE, listed in the WORLD WHO’S WHO Jazz Cabaret Singers, Federation of American Musicians, New York, NY ‘08 and is sponsored and Nominated by the TCA for inclusion in the Mid-America Arts Alliance touring roster & the Mid-Atlantic International touring roster.
